AWS SENSE PROGRAM

What is SENSE?
"Schools Excelling through National Skills Standards Education" or SENSE is an American Welding Society program. It was developed to promote "consistency and quality in welding education on a national basis". There are currently two levels of SENSE: Level I—Entry Welder, and Level II—Advanced Welder. Students who complete SENSE programming will be listed in the SENSE Training Database for verification of program completion and receive an AWS SENSE Certificate of Completion and wallet card containing their information and the process module/s (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, or FCAW) they completed. The certifications are aligned to industry recognized national education standards.
